Murasaki

Murasaki is a funny little lady, cut from a piece of experimentally dyed curly kid mohair that ended up with a light lavender pile and a chocolate brown tip. We've paired this gorgeous fur with some long alpaca dyed at the same time in the same lavender purple dye bath. 

She has a ridiculously large hand embroidered chocolate perle cotton nose and she looks out through a pair of our glass eyes with hand sculpted eyelids and eyelashes. She is loosely T-pin jointed and stuffed with a mix of polyfill, steel and glass shot. 

Murasaki's hands and paws are made from the trimmed back alpaca to show off the gorgeous purple backing, and feature our 3D shaped toes and fingers. She has some inktense shading and highlighting to her face and paws. We've finished her off with a large chocolate satin bow (fully removable) and she wears a sparkly gold-tone bee pendant around her neck.

Murasaki is a one of a kind artist bear.
