Oakdust

Oakdust is a very elegant big bear. He has been made from two colours of long pile alpaca - a jet black and a beaver brown. We've used the brown for accenting his features and breaking up the depth of the black colouring. He looks out through smaller sized black glass eyes and has a large hand embroidered nose in an unusual but perfectly matched bronze-brown tone. 

Oakdust is fully T-pin jointed. His joints are firm enough that he can sit (and stand with a little assistance) perfectly fine, but with his extra-weighting he has a little more of a floppy, heavy feel to his hug. His hands and feet are entirely made from the brown alpaca and feature our 'peek-a-boo' style 3D toes and fingers. He has some very subtle shading to his paws and face and wears a gorgeous dark dragonfly pendant around his neck. 

Oakdust is a one of a kind artist bear as made by Emma's Bears (ie, we won't be making this exact bear again), but we do have kits available (while this alpaca is still in stock) if you'd like to have a go at making your own version though. Just check out our KITS section.
