Petal is one of our newest Easter 2018 bunnies. She has been made from some of our hand-dyed long pile alpaca fur in a beautiful pastel pink colouring with a batik effect (mottled blends of deeper and softer pink tones). The original ivory white alpaca has been used for her inner ears, belly, cheeks and cute little bunny tail.
Petal looks out through big black glass eyes and has a hand-embroidered bunny nose with silk-dye shading. She is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed with a mix of polyfill and glass shot (even her gorgeous droopy ears are weighted!). Her hands and paws have also been shaded with silk-dye and have embroidered 'claws' in a lilac to match her delicious big lilac, pink and purple butterfly wings. (The wings are also handmade by a Spanish artist who is renowned for her impeccable work, and are held in place with an inbuilt pin, so are fully removable).
