'Willosnap'

By Emma and Mark Nicholson
EMMA'S BEARS
9" (23 cm)

This super sweet little cherub is 'Willowsnap'. She is made from some of our hand-dyed long pile alpaca (these colours were from the vintage rainbow range we dyed up a few weeks ago and most are now sold out).

Willowsnap is short and fat and super cute. She looks out through two different coloured hand-painted ooak eyes (shimmery teal on one side and gold-violet on the other) and has a hand embroidered perle cotton nose. She is 5-way T-pin jointed and stuffed with a mix of polyfill and glass shot for weight. Her paw pads are trimmed back alpaca and we've hand shaped her little fingers and toes to give a 3D effect. She has silk-dye shading to her eyes, nose and paw pads.

She wears a polished stone heart pendant around her neck (most likely quartz or moonstone - I'm not 100% sure which stone) and also has a pair of shimmering handmade butterfly wings on her back (fully removable).

Willowsnap is a one of a kind artist bear. Her little friend 'Dewdrop' can be found in is own listing.

~*~ Please Note that these bears are designed to be Adult Collectables and not intended for infants and young children due to small parts (eyes) and potential for damage (excessive limb twisting/ busted seams etc) – however child safe versions can be custom made and I would think that the bears would be fine with sensible, gentle children (yes – I am sure they exist!) Convo me if you have any concerns. ~*~
